When I heard that Bulgaria are playing against England in the qualifying group for Euro 2012 I was over the moon.This was my only one chance to see some of the United players.I was excited.I was preparing for their arrival.
I'm living a normal life like anyone else.I have a house,food,clothes,good parents and almost everything what I want.But money have never been enough for me to go to watch my favourite team - Manchester United.Going to England is expencive for my parents.For people like me,who live far away from England,few United players coming to Bulgaria, was a golden mine.
I'm living in a small town near the sea and I had to travel to Sofia where the match was played.I even wrote letters to the players & was prepared to give them.
Everyone knew when England are landing,so lots of Manchester United,Chelsea, Liverpool fans & etc were waiting at the airport.I was one of them.I remember how happy I was on my way to the airport.We had to wait a little bit,because the flight was delayed.Cameras,journalists,fans - everywhere.Unfortunately we couldn't get closer to the players.A bus was waiting next to the plane and they got into it straight.They just passed us and we all waved excited.
I didn't give up.I promised myself I will do everything to meet them until they are here.And here comes my 8 hours stay outside their hotel.They were staying in one of the luxuries hotels in Sofia,so we thought that if we stay outside they might go out for a walk or etc & we might have a big change to take a pic with them, talk with them.BUT NO.For 8 fucking hours I was standing outside.Yeah,I know how crazy I am.
I remember one of the hotel staff members walking and telling other in the beginning: 'Look at her,she's here from 3 hours,she's crazy' & then I told him: 'No, actually I'm here from 5 hours',haha.Waiting and waiting desperately.Nothing.We saw a bus coming and then the players getting in it,going to training.Again,they passed us outside the hotel & we were waving like crazy.That didn't stop me again.
We went to the stadium where they were training.Spend some time outside again waiting for the training to finish.I had some luck this time.The security put some barriers around us and the England stars started to go out from the stadium.I remeber how Capello,Lampard,Terry,Cole were such santemetres from me,but I didn't even bother asking them for a pic or autoghraph.The only one I wanted to stop were the United players.One girl was standing next to me & she asked Ashley Cole to stop and he did,but the girl didn't have marker or pen,so Ashley Cole turned to me and asked if he can use my marker.I was kind enough and gave it.Not a fan of Cole,but still remember his face!
Tom Cleverley,this boy.. no words.He didn't pass us.He didn't pass ANYONE.He stopped,posed for pics & signed autographs to everyone who has asked! I WAS LUCKY,BLOODLY LUCKY.He stopped,signed my cap,posed for a pic with me ( which my STUPID camera deleted!!!) and got the letter I wrote for him.My legs and hands were shaking.There was a big smile on my face.This day was the best of my life.And still is.I was so impressed from Cleverley's attitude.Such a nice lad.THANK YOU,CLEVZ!
I was little dissapointed,because the other United lads passed us like a road sign.Some of them stopped to sign a few autographs,but most of them were hurrying to get into the bus and just go to the hotel.Still, I was to happy,because Rooney,Jones,Smalling,Cleverley & Young were just metres from me!It was a real dream coming true.
The next day I went to watch the match as well at the stadium,but had to leave 5 mins early,because my aunt was worried about me.Still feel sorry about it,because I was a girl who got pics with the lads after the game...
During England's stay in Bulgaria they were always surrended by security,all the time.It was almost impossible to get close to them,but I did my best.I know this all sounds crazy,the 8 hours stay & etc,but this was my only one chance.Manchester United,I love you and I'll do the craziest thing for you.
